Buildings in dire need of attention

By SHAWN LOGAN

The following are deferred maintenance estimates for Calgary Board of Education schools and facilities. A 2005 facilities report showed the tab had reached $436 million and that total has since climbed to $454 million.

The maintenance backlog for the Catholic board hasn't been broken down by individual schools, but is projected to be around $90 million. Major modernization projects needed for existing schools are listed.
